AE contribution increases delayed by 6 months

The Government has decided that the minimum Automatic Enrolment (AE) contributions, which were due to rise from 2% to 5% in October 2017 will now increase six months later in April 2018. Likewise, the increase from 5% to 8% originally scheduled for October 2018 will now take place in April 2019. The following table highlights the changes, as well as what you and your employer will each contribute:
